Hi,

I have had a BA XR6T and a FPV GT which bot have had the cloth trim.

I am interested in getting a XR6T or a G6ET with leather, obvioulsy lit is no cost option on G6ET,

I was wondering what the leather is like. Does it deteriorate over the years to where it looks like rubbish or does it hold up quite nicely?

Does it get hot at all and stick to you?

Any info would be great

Thanks

The leather in the falcons is pretty good, providing you look after it! The BA/BF XR leather had perforated inserts so it wasn't too bad when hot, but the new Leather is smooth in both models, so if its hot and you are wearing shorts you may get a bit sticky. That said if you hit the climate control it should be nice and comfy inside

MJ - from a fellow Brisvegasite..... have had sports leather in both my BA and F. Never had an issue in summer - the suede centres and leather is a great mix. Bit of elbow work with some leather conditioner every couple of months, and it stays like new. As Pat mentioned - mix it with the lux pack and you can't go wrong.

Cheers guys for that.

I am a little cautious about the leather but it doesn't sound too bad really.

Going to the dealer tomorrow to see if they have any with leather to have a look at.

Hopefully get the approval from the financial controller too to trade in the GT as well. But we will just take one thing at a time.

if you order the luxury pack can you order it all minus the 19" wheel upgrade? Im just not keen on the bigger wheels but would love the leather and the rest of the bits you get. If you can do that what does the price come down to?

Cheers guys

Hi there,

What's wrong with the 19's?

howdy,

I probably worded it wrong they look nice, but all the reports ive read said they aint really suited to the suspension setup etc for the new FG... but then again if I go for the lux pack and there is no discount on the rims then I will just order it with the rims and work it out from there...

New factory 19" rims should fetch a nice price, enough to buy a set of 18" rims and have a fair bit of cash left over.

The 19" wheels are the shizz! Trust me, I have seen them on vehicles that are fresh of the production line, they are great.
