I just finished fitting up a UBP ( purchased off a fellow forum member ) to my Monza cooler this morning & I gotta say I was surprised at how much quicker the car seemed to respond to the right foot.

Definatly seemed to spool up faster & hit a bit harder in low end response. Didnt get a chance to open it right up thanks to the Saturday morning traffic but im more than happy with the snappier feel to the throttle response.

For a cheap & easy mod this was really worthwhile doing. :wwww:

It wouldn't make any difference with a stock F6 cooler would it?

(In other words, I'm trying to convince myself not to do it before I upgrade the whole cooler/induction system at the end of the year...) :wwww:

yeah it will make a bit of a difference, but its up to you mate, I would change the cooler though, you'd be flogging a dead horse once tuned IMHO

What would be the cheap and nasty cooler that would be better than the stock one? Don't tell me a farkin Monza cooler would be better than it?

I guess it all depends on what you want out of your car & how much money you want spend.

Okay sweet...

I've bought heaps of stuff. I'm getting it all installed and the turbo/wastegate done. That should see me to around 290 to 300. Then when I get sick of that and save up some more moolah I'll do the cooler and piping. I've got this car for a while so I wanna do it in stages. :wwww:
