Its going on 5yrs old and very rarely gets used. Yet when I do drive the car it always cranks over strong. When ive left my other cars unstarted for a month the batteries are usually flat!!!! bjc Donating Members 2,823 Member For: 21y 3m Gender: Male Location: Townsville Posted 24/05/08 09:59 AM Share Posted 24/05/08 09:59 AM If it takes longer to start than usual its probably near its death.One in the turbo lasted 4.5 years and the XR8 is at nearly 5yrs now but takes longer to start and has been doing it for about 4months now.The one in the turbo started cranking longer at the 4 year mark and by the 6 months after it just died on command, lucky I was at my mechanics having a chat!
