Posted 26/05/08 08:31 AM Share Posted 26/05/08 08:31 AM Lol, I'll see you on Thursday mate. My cars also going to be there on the day not to get some work done to the box, but for other minor work. I did have a chat with Simon face to face last week and they do build their boxes with genuine parts rather than non gen parts as some other workshops do and as some of the members have stated in this thread. Although Bayswater sound promising, id definately choose Nizpro when it comes to getting some work done whether tits Strengthening the Auto, Tuning my car or any other mechanical related work.cheers,San. Posted 26/05/08 08:42 AM Share Posted 26/05/08 08:42 AM (edited) Not only that Mike, they also use the right bands which are supposed to be used in the first place unlike some workshops that claim they use such and such bands but it turns out to be something different as some of the members have experienced.Nevertheless, throughout my time on this forum, I have never heard anything bad about Nizpro which goes to prove how highly they are respected in ALL departments! Am I glad I have the right workshop looking after my car!!my 2 cents........San. Edited 26/05/08 08:48 AM by XR2DY4

Lets face it, these gearboxes are great for cabs and not much else! if your running over 300rwkw, its better off budgeting in to you yearly running expenses a rebuilt gearbox and looking at it like changing a fuel filter. So u spent under a grand and u got all that done? good effort I say!

The clutches etc just aren't big enough to handle the torque.Rebuilds are just something you've got to accept with the 4 speed.

You're kidding yourself if you think it will only need doing once.
