Posted 22/05/08 11:35 AM Share Posted 22/05/08 11:35 AM You always hear about oil being traded in "barrels"....the cost of a barrel of oil is this or that or whatever..... Can someone give me an idea of exactly what the litre capacity is in a "barrel" of crude oil? Also, since obviously it has to be refined and stuff....how many litres of fuel would you expect to get out of a barrel? Someone asked me today and I had NFI...... When it is refined it also produces diesel and mineral oil for our engines so kinda triple dipping.Although I could be wrong but that is what I have been told.
