I was wondering if I could go cheap and buy new front ones only and put the original FPV fronts on the rear and get rid off the rear onescheers Edited 22/05/08 01:47 AM by cv8-r350 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/45791-changing-front-brakes/ Share on other sites

My rear brakes are standard.Along with a sprint meeting a few weeks ago, continual punishment from high speed, no fade whatsoever.I dont think you can transfer the front calipers to the rear of the car, even with brackets / adaptors etc. also consider the ECU systems... ABS / traction systems etc being calibrated for the slide caliper setup that's fitted standard.
