Removing Toneau Cover Clips

sorry stupid question but whats the process involved in removing the black clips, and does it leave dirty little marks on the side of my ute?

to remove the plugs you need to grab them with some pliers, then drill the rivet out. Make no mistake, it will leave around circle due to the weather and dirt on the exposed paint

Depends how careful you are.

Hold the little buggers with a pair of multi-grips and drill the rivets out - if they spin you'll be left with circles in the paintwork.

You can then buy plugs from ford spare parts to fill the gaps. :dummyspit:

Its a 2 person job, one to hold the vise grips, and one to drill the head of the pop rivet off.

So you'll need more friends than Tab has.... ie at least one.

Cause once one of those black circular thingo spins, it'll look terrible, and its game over.......
