I bought one of those Enjo things *well actually my mum did* haha anyways, I just wash mine with it and water, then chamois?? it. Is that how you spell it.

Yeah anyway I'm ganna get paint protection and all that stuff after I get it back. The girl said if I buy in bulk *ie 4 or more treatments* you get a discount, so I'm getting Paint protection, sound deadner (already bloody quiet though) electronic rust prevention, leather and carpet protection, and an alarm system for $1300. Without the discount it's around $3000 or something silly. It's the MING pack.

Anyone else get paint protection or anything??

I have the MING pack, Goose. Paint and interior protection are already on the car, the sound and rust proofing are coming in the New Year (the gun that applies the stuff broke on the day they were preparing my car, hence the delay). Can't vouch for its effectiveness yet, 'cos I've only had the car 2 days -- I do know that once you get the Ming paint protection, you're not supposed to use normal detergent to wash the car, they give you shampoo to use. Same with the interior protection.

I use personally Meguiar's Gold Class Wash and Wax.. the best stuff i have ever bought and used on my last car as well. Also purchased the Meguiar's woolen mit which is so much better to use then a normal sponge to keep it always nice and clean.. and scratch free :)

I will also be using the Meguiar's Gold Class Wash and Wax. I think it's the best that's available in Aust. Now if I was in the US and had some money to spare (up to AU $2000 a container), I would use Zymol. (http://www.zymol.com/carwash.htm). I have used some before and it produces a shine like no other (I used a cheaper one than the expensive one).

I think it's worth investing a little to keep the paint in top condition and Meguiar's seems to do that the best of any local product. I think as CJF077 posted, it's worth getting the quality mit to clean the car. I went with the Meguiar's mit as well as other sponges can leave scratches. And always use a differnt cloth on the car to the wheels. This is one common way to spoil good paint...

that's a good point edge, its obvious now that you point it out, but l have never thought of that before.

l may have to invest in some of the Meguiars stuff you and CJF use, it sounds like its worth it. l think l will give the Zymol a miss though

What's every thoughts on the car lovers laser wash?

Anyone had any bad experences with their paint work using these machines?

I use one regularly as I am unable to hand wash my car due to me getting around in a wheelchair.

I have not had any dramas to date washing my car this way although once I get my ba I will probably be a bit nervous the first time I use it.
