:roflmbo: That sucks dude. I can't go on a day cruise because I work weekends

Looking at the pole results, even if you total up both day trip suggestions AND the track day suggestion, at just over 30% they don't come close to either of the two night suggestions.

Can we please keep it as a night cruise? It makes sense and covers almost every base. And if we make it on the weekend of the 20th/21st, that gives people almost 3 weeks to organise themselves and their plans for that particular weekend...

What does everyone else think? :banghead:

Traffic lights are a pain in the arse and at night time you can't really see the cars as well. Theres also alot more traffic and police on the roads on sat night.

City night cruises are great but variety is the spice of life. Can't you get it off mate?

That's why I suggested the route I did. There's a huge opportunity for highway cruising along the Monash, then there's 15 to 20 mins of long winding road with no traffic lights, then Burwood Hwy for a few drags. There are traffic lights along Burwood Hwy, but if you organise a meet point at the end of Burwood Hwy somewhere, then people can meet there at the end, and then make their way over to the Princess afterwards...

Taking a Saturday off is too much of a risk $ wise.

What if some dude called Darren Rogers driving a new SS use came in and said 'Hey mate. I just won the $40,000,000 Powerball jackpot! Now, can I buy 50 houses off you?'

But if everyone wanted a day cruise, I could ask for it off. :banghead:

Good man!

The Glen to the Monash Fwy

Monash to Clyde Road (left turnoff)

Clyde Rd turns into Lyall Rd

(Maybe stop here somewhere to regroup? There's a carpark behind the old Berwick Pub)

Lyall Rd into Harkaway Rd (left)

Harkaway Rd turns into Berwick Rd

Berwick Rd to Wellington Rd (left)

Wellington Rd all the way up to Lysterfield Rd (right)

Lysterfield Rd to Glenfern Rd

Glenfern Rd to Burwood Hwy (left)

Burwood Hwy to a carpark somewhere (doesn't have to be too close to the city. It could be like in Vermont or even back to The Glen?)

Then everyone can have a chat and then cruise down the Prinny...

What do you think?

I will be in the pink VL turbo.
