:buttrock: Maximus, Oct is a long time off :spoton: I think we ought to organise something then but I'd like to do something before then.

I quite like Korumburra / Wonthaggi / Loch - 2 sets of twisties and its not near the ski fields.

I also fancy doing Black Spur / Marysville / Reefton Spur - one long circuit of twisties once into the Black Spur (just sometimes get stuck behind slow cars because it's popular now).

For a date before Oct - how about Sunday 11 July. Low chance of rain according to

Melbourne 28-day Rainfall Forecast

And for those who can do a 3 day cruise - we have the annual combined States Snowy Cruise on 19-21 Nov in the Snowy Mountains NSW. Great chance to meet some of the mods/characters on this forum in the flesh - Adam, tab, Dagabond (reputedly), turbo.vixen, bionicxr6t, ms700 the list goes on :beerchug:

I will be in for the 10/10/10 cruise but not before then.

Just remember Gary that up over the Spur back to Reefton it can get icy and even snowy up there on cold days.

Plus it is policed way too much and you get the sightseers out for a slow sunday drive.

:surrenderwave: I suggested a Prom cruise ages ago (maybe 3-4 years ago) and there were barely any takers :3gears: Guess it was a bit long for a day cruise for some of us. It included some good twisties. Just driving to the Prom is pretty mundane in my opinion - even that section from the National Park pay booth to Tidal River is patroled by speed cameras and it's 80km single file (solid lines - no over taking) most of the way nowadays. But there are plenty of different ways to get to the Prom. Once there - have a BBQ and then head home. June / July can get pretty wet and blowy that way in Gippsland though. Here's a link to that cruise that didn't happen because I had to cancel it due to lack of patronage :turboboink:

Gary I hope you have my name down for the Snowiys Cruise.

10/10 is too far off. Although hopefully by then I'll have my guage pod.

The Prom sounds good but no where for lunch is there? The island would be a great day. Wheres the twisties?

I'm up for the 11th.

There are some good roads up woodend way and around anakie way too, but I'd have to do some investigating down there before I suggessted a route. But to do that I'd have to get Cruise Control Status and I'm not up for that yet. lol. But I'll keep you posted.

Lets do another night cruise. I haven't taken my new car out yet and I've had it for months. Wouldn't mind some tinted windows and a tune first *cough*
