So thinking that might be a good one to do later in August if anybody interested - lunch at Trentham and also takes in Mt Macedon for a photo opp during the day as well (we did Mt Macedon at night last time and froze our proverbial butts off ). Probably about 250km round trip.Maybe in September we do Black Spur - Marysville - Reefton Spur (though I tend to get car sick on that one and I'm driving )These are only proposals by the way fellas - just putting out feelers to see of any interest Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A couple of us drove it in January and we all agreed that it needed a bit more traffic over it to bed the surface in. It should be good now.It's a very popular road with the road bike crew, and why not I guess? 56km's of twisting high country roads with no other roads (only bush tracks) running onto it.
