There is no oversight in their catalogue...

They list different springs for BA/BF and BF MkII.

Some of the people reading the catalogue seem to be the problem. :spoton:

I'll post this again...

FALCON BA BF XR/FPV SERIES: Front - KFFL-57/520. Rear - KFRL-68SSL/310.

FALCON BF MK II XR/FPV SERIES: Front - KFFL-53SSLHD. Rear - KFRL-68SSL/310.

The above part numbers are for the low springs only.

My understanding is that BA1, BA2 and BF1 all share the same front springs.

BF2 onwards was where the change was.

I've now got a set of SL's in the front of my BF and theyr the same part number as a BA's "KFFL-57"

So don't get those ones... It'll make your car higher than stock

Also if anyone is wanting a set of SL King springs (front only) They'r in my ute atm but I'll be pulling them out pretty soon.

SL's just aren't doing it for me :bangcomputer:

SSL's :spoton:

Why does everyone think that SL means low and SSL means super low?

One look at the catalogue and you'll see that it's just not the case.

The "super low" listing for a BA/BF XR SERIES not the BF MkII is: Front - KFFL-57. Rear - KFRL-68SSL.

Now look at the "low" listing for a BA/BF XR SERIES not the BF MkII is: Front - KFFL-57/520. Rear - KFRL-68SSL/310.

Both the "low" and "super low" have SSL in the part numbers! :bangcomputer:

I think this is what's causing the confusion (other than getting the correct car model). Everyone is all caught up on this SL or SSL stuff.

Jman, I'd bet money that your front springs aren't KFFL-57 as you've posted. They're actually super lows for your model.

I'd guess they are either KFFR-57 or KFFR-57H.

Mate I've got the Kings springs box in my kitchen. (of all places lol)

It has a big yellow sticker accross the side which reads "KFFL -57"

This is the same box I saw arrive by courier to the tire shop. I know coz I was waiting around for 4 hrs

Lowered cars cannot be modded to have to much power, lowering puts stress on already weak CV,s. Why have an RSPEC that you cannot screw real power out of because you want it to look low, which looks great but the front bumper wont after 6 mounths

Not much really. Dont pay any attention to my signature pic.. They dont sit anywhere nearly that low.

Theres approx 1inch gap between the top of my tire and the guard. - Ive got 19's mind you so it'll tend to sit higher than stock 17's.

As for stiffness.. not super impressed with springs on the front end. I think a swaybar is what really makes these cars handle better.

However stiffened up leafs at the back make sliding the ute SOOOO much more controlled :spoton:

If that's the case then you have super lows in.

This just doesn't look low enough. I might whack some in depending how they look.

Thanks :omg:

Looks OK to me, but it's always a matter of opinion.

I've kept the rear basically standard ride height; lowered cars have more of a tendency to break cv's, especially if you launch hard.

My front is lowered, which makes it look more aggressive.
