The stubbie cap works a treat as you cant tell anythings been messed with. Just pull the large hose off the blow off valve on the pressure side, put stubbie cap on blow off valve then push large hose back on. Leave the vac hose on it as it doesnt matter if it opens cos the passage is blocked and then you have a flutter or should I say you have compressor surge noise when you back off.

isnt it possible to just disconnect the vac line from manifold to BOV... now the BOV wont get the needed vacuum to open.

why must the BOV be removed and the inlets blocked?

Anyone had any luck finding some 1'' rubber hose end caps? The biggest size I can find is 3/4'' and I dont really want to have to use a chair stopper..

What's wrong with a chair stopper?

If you get the right ones they are thicker than most automotive plugs anyway.

There not designed to put up with the heat in the engine bay. If all else fails I'll get one, but I'd feel more comfortable with a proper stopper which is designed to cope with the heat of the engine bay.

And seeing this picture makes me worry.
