Yet to compare on a manual but I think my cheap kompact is starting to leak so will soon find out.Dillz, this particular mod from my understanding, is far more beneficial for Manual than Auto. Mate give it a go. You can always change it back. But I'm betting you don't. Cheers

From my understanding the Auto doesn't suffer the same lag issues as the manual when changing gears. But hey, give it a go, you may find an improvement. Impellor Member 835 Member For: 14y 6m 23d Gender: Not Telling Posted 10/02/12 11:27 PM Share Posted 10/02/12 11:27 PM Technically it should be blocked if still running the BOV, because you are now venting to atmosphere. Once you run a dose pipe you make the entire factory intake system obsolete. There crossover piping is separate, so the only reason to block is to stop stuff going into. Seeing that the cardboard stock bov was probably leaking boost. maybe just getting a better bov would get the improvement on throttle response and lag?but due to uneducated coppers a few other guys in adelaide have been defected for Blow of valves when they dont in fact have them. if someone hears a dose from a turbo car they think. "that's the bov making that noise. so its possible to get defected for having an illegally vented bov when you in fact dont have one at all.The people that have tried arguing that point to the cops didnt work either.seems f*cked to me that not having a blow off valve must be legal due to some cars not having them from factory but you can get defected all the same because people dont even know what they are. Bit of a let down maybe I should just vent the stock oneSent from my left nut using my right hand

Once the boost is up'd then things will change.
