Geez, how luckys that?

You must be a smooth talker

I dont know what the headlights are worth for an XR, but a pair would have to be worth $800 - $1000. That would hurt...

I had to get an XR light for my EB Moffat anf Ford spare parts said 550 and I got one second hand for 115 so either way 1100 or 230 is still too much to come out of my pocket .....

Cheers to Honda :D

The globes are listed as the same voltage as what has come out of the XR6, 55W.

you mean wattage :D

BTW Current (amps) X Voltage = Power (watts)

They are white lights and do not look blue only the actual tip of the globe has a blue coating.

Please dont talk about manners, or the like when you we are talking about two different products. The globes are not the "ricer" blue or purple you are thinking about.

OK, sounds like they may be different. I'll allow that.

However, if the globe you bought has a blue tip it is still illegal. I would be very surprised if they are exactly as for a BMW or MB as those vehicles have to comply with the same ADRs as our own vehicles.

Does it say on the packaging that the globe complies with ADRs? If not, then it most likely doesn't, and that is probably the true reason why they were not fitted to your XR6T in the factory.

Apart from "blue" lights the other real bugbear I have is with drivers who deliberately raise their headlight adjustment for better vision - OK for them but what about the poor bugger coming towards them with his own lights adjusted correctly down onto the road? Simple. He can't see - "oh well, no matter, just as long as one of us can it'll be allright mate!"

I hate that too mate.. thats something that really annoys me!

Had a look at the packaging nothing about ADR. Not sure why though.. I might ring Philips Australia and ask.. im curious to know why they are not..
