hey guys sorry if this has already been covered before but I need a straight forward answer so that I can understand things. I just wanted to know if the launch control on the new t manuals can be switched off? or even if it needs to be switched off to smoke up the rears? just wanna know so I can show off to all my mates who still reckon their vs Expensive Daewoo utes are the best cars around.

You can show off.

Yours will have launch control and theirs wont!

You can kick their arse in a race from Point A to Point B!

Yours isn't a Expensive Daewoo therefore is obviously a much better bit of kit!

 's

Unfortunately I haven't had any first hand experience in a manual T, so I can't say 100%, but I beleive it could be bypasssed by revving the car past 3500rpm in neutral, then engaging the clutch and seleting 1st.

the launch control should make it EASIER to light up the rears I think? so if you use launch control on and traction control OFF, smoke city bro...

the launch control helps spool the turbo for a faster launch. its the traction control that stops the wheels from spinning....
