Only make a dyno figure comparison when you have 2 different cars tuned by the same person, and even then take into account the boost you are running and overall ignition timing advance. Go find out if the gear and tune is any good on the 1/

Do you think the std actuator could play a part also. Every single one seems to have a different personality.
Fat-Tony Member 5,364 Member For: 18y 7m 24d Posted 16/05/08 09:21 AM Share Posted 16/05/08 09:21 AM Well some actuators fail easily, some don't. Upgrading the actuator will give you way more boost consistency, actually allow you to achieve higher levels of boost, and boost will come on much stronger. If you ever get the chance pick up a 12psi actuator and a std one. Pull out the arm and you will notice the difference in spring tension is massive. I have the BA mk1 cat and valve springs and made 299.5rwkw, then 299.4 & 299.2 rwkw's in back to back dyno runs without a cooling fan, so heat soak isn't a problem for me on 14psi.Unless you're changing your plumbing, I don't think there's much point getting a 800hp or 1000hp intercooler for a 550hp engine, but that's just me. If you put the a std intercooler along side the wog cooler, I'm sure you'll notice a difference in length, width and hieght.

You can make the same or better power a lot cheaper IMO.Speak with the site sponsors and you will find a better deal to get the power. Reliably and safely. Please tell me your tuner isn't using UniChimp to deliver the power. Superceded by 4 years. Not saying the Chimp cannot deliver power, it can, just not better than the factory ECU. Then again it is your money. 400+rwkw cars or any others for that matter don't use piggybacks anymore
