I had the brake and gas pedals to the floor in neutral, then slammed it into drive with both hands in a BA XT and did the biggest farkin patch you can imagine, and then the gearbox blew up a week later. Some guy from Taiwan who rented it a week before copped a the bill over that one! All trying to justify a manual by saying it's for real driving, etc.Take a look at the car's we're talking about here. They're big heavy cruisers, perfectly suited to auto.If you were serious about the 'real driving experience', you'd get a manual MX5, or something that is actually light and chuckable with a decent manual shift feel. Look at all the Idiots in 4cyl's and LPG cars that will risk life and limb, just to get in front of you in a 60 zone

At this point I think its the input shaft that can giveway??375rwkw & counting & no issues as of yet. im gonna push my luck again soon so I'll be puttin mine through its paces. blokes like fsix on here were pushin high 300's & then had race tunes with enormous amounts of 1/4 mile runs under there belts with no issues. I dont think I could go back to a manual even with the twisty stuff I just chuck it in manual mode & ive got all the control I need & for cruisin hit the c/ctrl button and next thing your there. if you want fun launching load it up to just off 2 & let her rip. you'll get all the wheel spin you'll ever need.
