Just see how you go with the cat and the springs, and have the funds ready if they cause a problem on the dyno. Some cars need them done, others have done it easily without.

Punch out your cat and your set , then you wont even need a new set of valve springs wala..

I do not condone this practice, as it might increase emissions

So I'll need to do the valve springs pretty early?

Stock zorst has a fair bit of back pressure that puts pressure on the valves and hence valve springs, so yes. But probably not if you have a free flowing zorst.

Don't waste your money on a Monza cooler. As others suggest, bsave your money for something better. Nizpro, Process West or Rapid Systems are excellent choices.

Thanks for all the advice guys, I think I'll leave out the springs and cat but keep the funds aside as ms said, and dirty excuse my ignorance and slackness to search the forums but what is a UBP and what does it do?

Wow if I have to replace so much just to get to 270 I spose I might as well go 300 or so.

And sorry if the thread seems like a repeat of that one you linked hanra, but I heard there were some differences between BA-BF regarding springs, cat and so on so I wanted to make sure ;) .

Im pretty sure that EZ2CME is running 310+ rwkw with a stock cat from memory Pat.

But others have also had problems with the cat from 270 onwards so its touch and go...

Locky - as mentioned, if your budget can stretch to include a cat it will just help the engine breath a little better so...

302rwkw to be exact. That'll be changing when I can save up some dosh again though.
