LOL, thanks for the plug mate, but I would say any dealer could do it for you too.

My manager went to drive the FPV's yesterday and brought back an info pack about the models. New details about the F6 motor include:

- New Turbo, larger compressor wheel, different compressor housing and up-rated wastegate spec.

- Lower Comp. Ratio, down from 8.7:1 to 8.47:1.

- Boost is now 0.91bar or 13.3psi

- Larger intercooler featuring 22% increase in cooler volume, 45% improvement in heat rejection and a 34% reduction in pressure drop.

- New exhaust manifold featuring a more "tuned length" runner design.

Apparently the F6 is an absolute weapon on the road and sounds the business too. Cabin feel better and more like a "cockpit". The new TR6060 manual is quite impressive also.

Sounds good to me! :rallee:

That's good news on the paint job - certainly a good option.

Tech specs above sound very impressive - so is it a different turbo to the FG XR6T?

I spoke to a dealer up my way and he said the New T has the same turbo as the current F6, or are they all different turbos?

I don't think they would change the turbos, the previous F6 had the same turbo as the T, so I don't see why they would change it when its capable of running much higher boost

When I was at FPV in Melbourne a few weeks ago and looked at the new cars, the numbers visible on the housing are the same as those on the FG XR6T. M12 I think from memory so does this mean it's the same turbo or are these numbers irrelevant to compressor wheel sizes etc?

Yes, the F6 has lower compression pistons, but I think that's the only difference internally.
