Drive.com has quoted:

"But Drive’s first, brief performance test of the 310kW F6 saw 5.3 seconds flash up on our satellite-based timing equipment for the 0-100km/h sprint. That already beats times we have recorded with the same equipment for both the XR6 Turbo (5.4 seconds) and new HSV 6.2-litre V8 (5.6 seconds)."

And as you've stated Flukey, they also did a 5.1 with the T &G6ET.

Will be interesting also to see what they do when run in a bit.

My the main issue with the FG F6 is the raccoon eye's and dark wheel combo. In the blue it looks sexy but every other colour I have seen it in it looks a bit miss matched. FPV have to be careful, to many pretty add on bits make a car look like a R8. And we all know R8 = Gay

As for the 310 well I am jealous....I have 260rwk in my Rspec, that cost me 2g's. Lets assume the same sort of gains are made with 2g's in the FG then you will be hitting 300+ for very little spend and in my book looks count for little when you are in the rear view.

The racoon eyes apparently come in 2 shades of grey, depending on what colour is chosen.

I would pay $500 to have the eyes colour coded by the factory, but I do not think I should have to get it done privately.

They should make them a NCO just like the stripes on the GTs.

LOL, thanks for the plug mate, but I would say any dealer could do it for you too.

My manager went to drive the FPV's yesterday and brought back an info pack about the models. New details about the F6 motor include:

- New Turbo, larger compressor wheel, different compressor housing and up-rated wastegate spec.

- Lower Comp. Ratio, down from 8.7:1 to 8.47:1.

- Boost is now 0.91bar or 13.3psi

- Larger intercooler featuring 22% increase in cooler volume, 45% improvement in heat rejection and a 34% reduction in pressure drop.

- New exhaust manifold featuring a more "tuned length" runner design.

Apparently the F6 is an absolute weapon on the road and sounds the business too. Cabin feel better and more like a "cockpit". The new TR6060 manual is quite impressive also.

Sounds good to me! :fear (5):

Very tempting...! I'm sure I could get my own rims and get those eyes painted out... My 6310 reasons are mostly looks based anyway.

But I never pay full price so I'll wait till the run outs lol

Do I just ring up my local for a test drive when they come out Pat?

Yeah mate, you may be hard pressed organising a test drive straight away though, some dealers will not want to put alot of kays on an un-registered vehicle. See how you go!
