I'm keen to see one of these cars put up against a ba/bf xr6t with the same amount of power (or perhaps a litle more) and seeing how they go down the 1/4 mile....

mind you I'm happy with my ba, but might look at trading in to a mk2 with the t56 :w00t2:

gees - all this excitement over something that removes half the fun of driving a manual!

The most fun I have is driving a car that has too much power - and mastering the takeoffs, feathering the throttle etc - who wants to give all the fun to the computer.

I am sticking with my clunky T56 and no computer assistance.

PS - The Wog had launch control to some degree on his tunes a couple of years ago using the soft rev limit, as he did with flat change shifting.
