Member 852 Member For: 17y 3d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 16/05/08 03:15 AM Author Share Posted 16/05/08 03:15 AM Finally got some pics!Had to rush out during lunch to snap a few shots off down Yarra Blvd... Damn I could've probably phrased that a bit better. And one more I played with a bit in PS.It's bog stock at the minute. The 18's, suede/leather trim and fatter factory steering wheel are the only things that make it slightly different to any other.I don't think that will be the case for long though if I'm hangin around here :fear (5): Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/45488-little-advice-for-a-newbie-turbo-owner/page/4/#findComment-677044 Share on other sites

I broke a cv with the tc on when I snapped 2nd at around 50kph, the wheels slipped and I assume the brakes were engaged by the tc. power to the wheels and the tc grabbing the brakes is not a good thing for the axles!!!fwiw I take it easy until the temp gauge reaches 1/4, then if you have to, use the boost! 95 is fine on a stock motor, I used it primarily when mine was stock and it went pretty hard (ran 101.96mph at the track). I usually cruise for about 1km before I turn it off. I'm more of a machined/black kind of guy when it comes to big rims though. Just a personal pref. Although I dig your rims dude. :fear (5): Thanks for the replies again.
