Finally got some pics!

Had to rush out during lunch to snap a few shots off down Yarra Blvd... Damn I could've probably phrased that a bit better.

And one more I played with a bit in PS.

It's bog stock at the minute. The 18's, suede/leather trim and fatter factory steering wheel are the only things that make it slightly different to any other.

I don't think that will be the case for long though if I'm hangin around here :fear (5):

ohhhh nice!!

I think the tc is more of a cv killer in the manuals, as part of the way it works is applying the brake at low speeds. I broke a cv with the tc on when I snapped 2nd at around 50kph, the wheels slipped and I assume the brakes were engaged by the tc. power to the wheels and the tc grabbing the brakes is not a good thing for the axles!!!

fwiw I take it easy until the temp gauge reaches 1/4, then if you have to, use the boost! 95 is fine on a stock motor, I used it primarily when mine was stock and it went pretty hard (ran 101.96mph at the track). I usually cruise for about 1km before I turn it off.

Haha that all depends on if the boss can hook me up with an ongoing supply of cheap tyres (top brand but mates rates) to wrap em in. I'm more of a machined/black kind of guy when it comes to big rims though. Just a personal pref. Although I dig your rims dude. :fear (5):

Thanks for the replies again.

what area are you from man?

car looks sweet btw!

I agree with TC being off, you'll probably understand why when it kicks in for you the first time, it doesnt sound like the engine is enjoying it at all.

I agree with the other guys who said CONTROL THE CAR YOURSELF

as for my thoughts on fuel, it will only cost you like 5-10 dollars more to fill up with 98 instead of 95 so do the car a favour and dont be a tight ass, even without a tune, its better for the car.

there are so many topics on here that will help you decide what mods to get, most of these guys are great help and really know what they are talking about with these cars.

Hey Ghosti must be the week for it I'm based in Franston as well looking at picking up a 2003 BA with 250rwkw capa flash tune and an exhaust. Purple in color 85,000km for low 20K

Just wondering if this is a reasonable deal or should steer clear

Car seems pretty tight goes like a weapon and looks straight

Depends on the appointments but I think you are in the ballpark. Could be a couple of g's too much if it's not a well appointed model.

Hey it's your first post dude. Welcome to the jungle!
