So, just set up a boost gauge (cheers to Sean :tonguepoke: ) and the display is reading 20 on the vac side of life.

Is this normal or not? haven't had a drive yet, just idling in the driveway with a couple of quick throttle stabs (it does move upwards towards the positive side, but should it sit @ 0???)

Cheers

Dan

that's normal, with the TB closed the motor is going to create a vacuum in the manifold.

When you open TB it will start to go atmospheric (0 on the gauge), then when you build boost it will start climbing into the boost side of the gauge ;)

good to see you got it all working easy

was worth f*cking around in the dark to d/c it then!

hey, yeh it was, made it heaps easier, cheers.

How'd you hook up the power though? (or anyone that's done it too) obviously one leads gotta go to the positive on the battery, but does the other need to go the negative? or can it just be ground off to the frame?

Cheers again

the way I did it mate was the green one to battery and the blue one to earth (I did it to a bolt near the battery, undid the bolt, wrapped the wire around and tightened it)
