MICKAJ Member 245 Member For: 16y 11m 15d Posted 11/05/08 10:48 AM Share Posted 11/05/08 10:48 AM -What are the generic tunes, an extra amount of fuel squirted in across the entire map, or is it a bit more accurate where the fuel goes?Is it possible to use the generic tune and still get the factory fuel consumption driving grandma style without boosting the sh!t out of it.-And is the trac control a fuel pressure cut?? Usually, you will get the valet mode which restrict speed to around 40kays, stage 1 will be an 8 psi tune which should be your economy tune which will lean out various motor parameters and give more power.stage 2 will usually be a 10psi tune
MICKAJ Member 245 Member For: 16y 11m 15d Posted 20/05/08 07:18 AM Author Share Posted 20/05/08 07:18 AM (edited) Yeah I know a custom tune will be better on fuel, but I got generics so just trying to work with what I got and understand where the tunes came from, if they were a tune that worked in some other random car than copied, or whether some guy just took the factory tune and added some fuel where he thought it looked good. Thanks for the info guys Edited 20/05/08 07:21 AM by MICKAJ
