Where could I source an AP clutch apart from ford? Get it flushed and bled. Also make sure the gear stick is tight on the gear box. The anti rattle clips on the AP's broke on the very first F6's but this has been well and truly resolved. The AP's do play up if the intermediate plate slides are dry. This causes the plate to drag when disengaging the clutch. As for the ABS/brake lit coming, check your rear lights and make sure they all work, if the do back to ford so the can WDS it and pull the codes.cheersLukeFords recalled the F6 for the clips which when broken made the car difficult to select gears. My box is hard to shift into second until it fully warms up I think my clutch plates are dragging like mentioned above. I think ford should sort this out for you, but if the plates have abuse your on your own. PS- Wait till they give you the standard " Your mat was too high and jamming under the clutch and not giving you full disengagement. Then you take them to the car and show them it has no mats (IDIOTS) ( because you purposely took them out before you took it in as you knew that they would say that) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/45401-clutch-problem-2004-f6/page/2/#findComment-675077 Share on other sites

My father had it couriered over to his suspension and exhaust shop. He looked at it and didnt see anything wrong with it so he took it next door to a transmission specialest and he didnt see anything wrong with it so he took it to slacks creak brake and clutch. Again nothing wrong with it. Now when my father called ford to ask them what they thought they were doing down there they said they had replaced the slave cylinder for the clutch under warrenty as well. mmm so they just thought they would replace the clutch at the same time.....5ks worth of work to the owners cost. lucky they didnt. Clutch is being sent back tomorrowNOT HAPPY.
