Any Mackay drivers out there? Where do you go to get a service done? Powerhouse Ford just quoted me $420 for the 30000km service......seems a bit excessive for an apprentice to change the oil and an air filter.

Hey Sunday.

I started a thread similar to this on the Mackay Ford Club forum after the business that I had been using for servicing dinted my bonnet and then botched up the repair three times. To be honest I am still not entirely happy with it but it is the best that the spraypainter that they subbied the work out to can do apparently.

One business in particular got a lot of peoples vote on the Mackay Ford club site. Can't remember the name of it but if you go and do a search on that site it wont be too hard to find.

Cheers,

Craig.

Any good tuning house can perform your log book services and stamp the book, only take you car to Fraud service for warranty IMO.

Be stuffed if I would trust the pie fetchers to deliver what you are paying for.

At least when I take my car to my tuner I have the peace of mind that all requisite tasks are completed and more. I don't think that Fraud service centres would even no what Royal Purple is. Probably some nasty tropical disease

Sunday, you will save yourself bout $100 dollars for this service by not going to Fraud and get better oils etc in the process
