They might seem gimicky but once you have them I think you might think different.

Posted 18/05/08 02:44 AM Share Posted 18/05/08 02:44 AM Tab - must have missed that in the spec..... if that's the case it's fantastic - auto adjust to roadspeed is brilliant. In heavy rain just flick the switch to "fast" as you'd normally do.

Bobman Member 67 Member For: 17y 2m 4d Location: Melbourne Posted 18/05/08 03:10 AM Share Posted 18/05/08 03:10 AM Hm. I never heard of that before, sounds good though. Maybe it was in the BA Mk2 onwards? Never happened in my 2004 BA Mk1 :(But I think the guys were talking about wipers which come on if it detects rain. On my brother's E46 you just flick the wiper switch once and leave it and it will wipe only if it rains.Be funny to see what happens if you encounter those window washers, as is so often on Victoria and Hoddle Streets, in Melbourne. Best best BEST feature I've ever had in a vehicles wiper system is the speed sensitive type..... That is a sensible and useable feature.I drove a BMW with the speed changing wipers.I'm lost!
