GAH!

Personally I think the B series is a work of art ands messing with it just ruins it. Tinted tail lights just look so cheap; like those awful after market lights with the three separate circles for the brake/indicator/reverse. Blegh!!

Its illegal in Vic, NSW, and most other states I believe...

I have had mates do it anyways, in a number of different ways...

Spray - light coats, semi cover paints, and even using film like contact....

I did have one mate many years ago actually put something inside his light which was weird- otherwise burnt into the plastic however made it darker from the inside...

Headlights are a no go also...

Just like some HL globes also...

I would be very cautious doing this. If someone runs up your ar*e at night and the cops arrive they may just realise you'v tinted your tail lights and the blame could be put back on you. I know in NSW it is definatily a defect. ADR would state a certain brightness required by your tail lights.

ADR is an Australian wide regulation, so it most likely would be a defect in VIC and all the other states.

Tint your windows, but not your tail lights. Looks desperate, like your not creative enough to do anything else.

I will admit that the blueprint sedan looks f*cking tuff, however I am not a fan of spray on tail light tint....

Tuff!? All it says to me is "muzza on board"!!

Actually that's an idea - forget about the tail lights and get a yellow sign which says that. That way, everybody gets the message you're trying to send without needing to spend any money!

Give me a sleeper any day: who cares if it looks tough, it's better to GO tough.

I think it looks great as long as you leave the indicators clear to give it that contrast.... ive seen guys tint the whole thing and I dont think it looks good... too choco for me!
