hit a nerve did we?? LOL

I guess its dumb shiat if you say it is...... the only dumb thing in my post, which was taking a slight dig, was the tight clothing thing....

as for the other stuff, its true.... social riders riding in groups are not out of the norm in the early morning commute to work.. these guys/gals are NOT riding to work... they are riding in social groups before they go home or ride to their cars (meetng point) and jump in their cars and head off to work. its fricken ludicrous.

as I said in my previous post, its not the few that actually ride to work that are the problem.... its the groups that are NOT riding to work that fark it all up.

read my post again and you will see I did not single out genuine single riders, riding to work.

here, ill let you disect and highlight my post now, so that you can have another spray.

No nerve twitching I promise. I'll toy with the emotions here, thank you very much. :stirthepot:

Social/sport riders are the ones that are sh*tting you and I guarantee they don't meet up in groups to patrol busy roads are peak hour. Riders are more afraid of peak hour than you are disturbed by other people getting in your way. Riders are the last thing on motorists minds and riders know this. That's why I eloquently defined it as dumb sh*t.

*stuff highlighted for dramatic effect

thank you for the dramatic effect.

you do not need to guarantee me anything... I am on the road every day between 6 am and 9 am.... I see it all the time... but as you mentioned, im sure they dont meet up and say " hey lets go and stuff the traffic up on Coronation Drive today"....

At the end of the day, rididng in groups does cause problems, pure and simple... defend it all you want.

you know why it causes problems though? It's because the freakin government can't build bloody roads properly!

Just this week work was finished on a section of the M5/Hume Hwy in SW Sydney. A long overdue widening from 2lanes northbound to 4 lanes. This was done southbound approx. 12-18months ago.

After the widening traffic flowed much better of course, but now there are practically no breakdown/ bike lanes on either side of the road, so the benefit of the extra lane is lost when someone breaks down and has to stop halfway into the lane.. :spoton:

That's a hell commute for you. 3-hours sounds like a bitch. Would probably be 1-2 minutes quicker if it wasn't for those pesky cyclists.

I agree that riding groups are a pain, but I maintain they have every right to be there. I never cycle in groups (cause I've got no mates), and groups annoy me too. So does lining up at the supermarket, though the *beep* in front of me aren't any less important than me, so I take it in my stride.

Gotta complain about something I guess. May as well be cyclists slowing you down by a few seconds. I save my ranting for more important issues, such as bitching about people complaining, or Tab and his anti Apple campaign.

We truly do have it good, as if cyclists are high on the list of things that ruin your day, sh*ts pretty damn good.

LOL, they dont ruin my day... genuine commuters use bike paths in and around the city and road use is limited.... its got nothing to do with them slowing me down for a second or 2 or a few minutes... its the attitude they have whilst in their groups...

They have the right to be there just like I do.... at the same time, they should follow the rules just like I do.

for those genuine commmuters I take my hat off to you.... putting those bike paths and tracks around the city to good use.

for those that ride in groups and have no regard for others.... well you deserve to be bitch slapped.

it pays to have no mates when your a cyclist.

end of rant

oh and I bitch about what ever I can.... and today its cyclists

*cough*

You + Bike = Retardation

And then you get in your urban assault vehicle (been off-road four-wheel driving in it yet) and it continues....

What more needs to be said?

They do follow the rules. It's the rules you don't like, not the cyclists. 2 abreast sounds great, but I practice, you hate it as it effects you.

I hope you never have a real reason to bitch. :spoton:

*cough*

Sorry princess, I missed this one.

I've had my urban assault vehicle more off-road than any other Terry owner I reckon. For the record, the TT ain't for off roading - it's spastic at that.

Oh, and I don't need a bike to be retarded. I just need a little of your influence.
