So would you recommend this upgrade as I'm thinking of getting the same?

also what brake pads did you use?

Yeah I would recommend it as a budget upgrade to fill out your big wheels and for stronger braking on the street.

The rotors got a few rust spots on them so I took them off and repainted them with decent hi-temp / chem resistance paint yesterday. While doing that I measured the rotor and I am convinced the rotor is off the following vehicle:

2000 - 2003 AU-III T-series 5.6 L V8 (grey Tickford 2 piston front caliper). 329 x 28mm

This means that the DBA 5000 series rotor is available for this but it's about $700 per rotor.

I used QFM LTM3000 pads initially (about 200kms) and then changed to EBC greenstuff. Will go ferrodo's or the new Bendix next time though.

Spray some WD40 or RP7 on the bolts half an hour before hand.

And dont forget the bolts are on the back of the caliper, so make sure you are turning them the right way. its an easy trap to fall into.

Did the brakes on a Ba wagon which required to rotors to be removed..

Get a socket that fits the bolt perfectly and get a braker bar... Now its time to hang off the bloody thing,
