I have been in a few BFs and there is not a lot of difference between the cars.I drove one of the first Typhoons and could not justify throwing the money down the drain for a few extra shiny bits and a push button starter.A BA with the right brakes and suspension setup, a stronger bottom end is a far better buy... my 2 cents worth.I guess it all comes down to what you are really after. My preference is performance in all regards firstly then the looks and bells and whisltes second.I cant wait to drive an FG and then I will make a decision as to whether I upgrade or not. The old taxi still feels and goes pretty good.

FPV did churn out a few regular Typhoons this year, I personally think bringing in that many would be suicide - take too long to get rid of for too little money...Ultimately the decision is yours and it doesn't matter who flames you for it. I think you will change your mind on the FG once you see it more and drive the car. I took our first XR6 for a drive this afternoon and by god if we don't sell these cars, we should all be shot! What the might want to ask Senna if he can see on the system if this is correct... Maybe one or two, but I couldn't imagine 25....Also "I'm" not sure if there ever was a 2008 Typhoon - all the RSpecs that I knew existed were 2007 and RSpec's...25 08 Typhoons seems pretty ambitious! FPV did churn out a few Typhoons this year, I personally think bringing in that many would be suicide - take too long to get rid of for too little money...Thanks Senna - I didnt think it was realist to take 25 BFII FPV of any year (if there was even an 2008 Model)... But could still be wrong.... Regarding the 2008 builds - Didnt think there was a RSpec.... So all good there....However I 'Publicly admit' being wrong on the fact they did make a 2008 BFII F6 model... Doesnt happen often - but there I said it... hulk xr6t Member 160 Member For: 17y 28d Posted 06/05/08 06:44 AM Share Posted 06/05/08 06:44 AM This is nuts..How can you buy a BF over the FG? YOu want to buy a new car but be accused the next day (the same day) of owning the old model?? Also the Typhoon and XR6T basically look the same in BA-BF, probably paying double what your XR6T is worth change over (or more).. for pretty much the same car..At least the FG you know your driving the newest car, warranty will take care of any bugs, resale value will take care of you.To buy a BF2 now it would have to be one hell of a good price. $10-15k under equivalent FG model.. 'Assuming' that the new Typhoon will be approx $65K (will be no discounts) that's means their approx 9-13K under the new FG... That's not bad.How can you buy a BF over the FG? YOu want to buy a new car but be accused the next day (the same day) of owning the old model??Erm - personally I'm not 'consumed' with 'consuming' or having the latest things so I see little benefit in upgrading right at the moment. I also don't care if people accuse me of owning the non current model... pfft.

I didn't say I was anywhere near doing it. Just that I'd consider it. I did and rejected the idea. Easy.Lightning...
