Great tyre. The Falkens are 235/40R/18 95w.These tyres on the suburban streets and highway in both wet & dry conditions are terrific.I couldn't believe just how well they felt.Confident, sure footed, stick like glue sort of feel.Anyway, back to today.I was in the Advanced drivers group, so pretty happy with that.Less cars per group and better standard. The first 3 runs were good and all about getting into the groove.Started nailing the corners and keeping my overall speed up.The fourth run was just sweet.Really put things together. The T lurched less, powered out of the corners earlier/better, and braked later.Got up to 205klm down the straight and 160klm through turn one.The Falkens were just great. Really helped with keeping things smooth.keep thinking of buying a timer and/or incar camera holder, but?????For me, it's all about having fun, not neccesarily the next step up.Had some good chats to other drivers so a real social day. Some photo's of me are at: www.jpmphoto.com.auEastern Creek "Purple Group"I'm the Green (Breeze) car!mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm the smell of rubber!Cheers. Would be good if you could join us for Wakefield in July.

Next chance you get to go to the Creek try nailing it flat out - you can go through at 200. Did they have any instructors there? Try getting one to go with you - it's amazing what you will pick up. Most people are conservative with cornering speed until someone really shows you what you and your car are capable of. Anyhow good on you for having a go - tracks are the best place for testing yourself and your car and always a hoot!

Can I buy anything on ebay or one of the sponsor sites to grow my balls!!But thanks, appreciate the encouragement.Turbo(smallnuts)boy!

The article put it up against a VZ SS or SV8, VZ SV6 and N/A XR6 I think. I think the times were about 1.55 for the SS and XR6T and about 2 min for the N/A 6's driven well. I took a stock VZ SV6 there a few years back and did a best of around 2min 10!!! It really had nothing in a straight line. :-)I'd be keen to take my Fg XR6T to Eastern Creek one day and would love to get under 2 min finally.
