They sound like something I would look at but I haven't seen them here. Who sells them up in Cairns?

I may be able to get them here if I actually ask for them. I can ge the Sdrives here for the same type of money, the V103s are a $20 each more. Compound wise the Sdrives are softer/stickier than the V103 but not sure where your Federals fit into the picture.

yeah, hard to find em, they had to order them in, it not somthing they keep on the shelf.

"Cairns tyre specialists" got em for me. And teh sizes are very limited too. in 18inch, they only come in 235`s. This is plenty though when you see how well they grip.

I've got the SP Sport 3000's on the Euro (with Prodrive 17s) and they're fantastic.

I've got the stock 19's on the F6 with the SP Sport Maxx's on it.

I've done 16,000k's and the rears are just starting to sit flush (some are about 1 mil off) the wear indicators and I give this thing some stick.

Does anyone know if there's a better tyre in a similar price range for the 19s that will handle 300 at the rears?

Not much comment here about the Falken FK452? Since they came 2nd in the Wheels tyre test I thought they would be worth a try.

Anybody had any experience?

Yeah. 20,000k's with 350rwkw. Very quite. Very good grip considering their wear rating. Good in wet. No tram lining.

But as with most tyres when a little wear kicks in things get worse. Although they have stayed very quite. But these have gone up a fair bit recently. I'm looking at Kumho KU19's next. I can get 245/35x19's for $260 each. Full retail is about $340.
