Tax they'd already paid in advance of the law actually getting passed, I think. That'll teach 'em! NOT

Poor little kRuddy...his world is tumbling down around him.

After all it was never really their money...

I only go out drinking 1-2 times a fortnight, and do ~5 drinks each time. Plus I don't smoke. But I don't agree with this taxing mayhem.Rudd is taxing industry for emitting CO2, it cuts profits and actually makes it even harder for them to research and invest in cleaner technologies. You know what, humans breathe and emit CO2, lets tax humans for breathing. Edited 19/03/09 07:30 AM by never_buy_4cylinder

Whether this is true or not, I don't know. The government is just money hungry and mask everything up with other issues! I think it's an absolute raught what they are doing, and think about how much tax they put on fuel! I read the other day that tax accounted for 70c out of $1.50 worth of fuel! So just for filling my tank up they are making around $42 off my at that price! We already payout enough as it is.Heard on the radio this morning that apparently the price of smokes will be increased aswell since a 'study' has found the 7 major causes of death have some sort of link to smoking. I don't smoke so it doesn't really affect me, but just another way to pull more money out of our pockets.Oh wait, I get $900 from the government soon. I love Rudd!
