Hey All,

Well I've finally gotten my car back from the panel shop 7 wks later!

Anyways, the day I was rear ended, Ford machined my front rotors and I only got to drive about 20kms on it till the acco.

So driving today, I can hear wooshing and clunking on the front right corner, pulled the wheel off tonight, and the rotor can freely be moved, and the caliper has about 4mm worth of for/aft movement in it.

Is this incorrectly fitted?

check the bolts on the top and bottom of the calipers, see if they are loose or not.

if they are tight, then I reckon they havent bled the brakes properly and the piston is not closing all the way.

The calipers actually float on the steel bracket. A small amount of movement is normal
