That sux, what mongrels. My parents car got broken into over the weekend (parked behind the T in the drive way :roflmbo:) forced the front door and stole a camera that you couldn't even tell was there, seemed really sus. I always hide or take both sets of keys with me when I leave the car at home as a random break in could end up worse then just losing your TV and xbox.

Geez. that's aweful. I think its worse that we have thieves game enough to come in and take our keys and wallet. Cars can be replaced but the potential for someone to be seriously hurt here is very very high

Gotta beef up the security... Do it my way... security grills on all windows, big tough doors, back to base Alarm on every night protecting the garage and house everywhere except where you sleep, car has sophisitcated alarm and immobiliser on it. The rottweiler makes a heap of noise, Keys less than a metre from where I sleep, my neighbours are ready to pounce if they hear something. If the thief is good enough to get in, he had better be good enough to get out, they will seriously piss me off for waking me up and they will meet my 20 inch biceps swinging a crowbar at them. It will be a bloodbath and my security will ensure there is no way out for them....

bloody pricks. Whats the go with insurance and keys missing these days? A while back apparently if they find the keys in the car they dont cover, these days though it appears it's the only way to knock off a car... that or a tow truck.

Most newer model cars are now stolen with the keys as it is much easier then to have to worry about imobilisation and alarm sysytems. A growing trend towards the theft of high perfromance and luxury motor vehicles is to simply collide with them in another vehicle causing a small rear end collision. When the driver gets out to examine the damage he is assaulted or threatened in some way and the car is stolen. Again with the keys. Also from breaking into homes and businesses now yields the same rewards. A number of police vehicles have also been stolen this way.

There are a lot of explicit words I can use to discribe those ppl who stole the car and then damaged it

I hope they find them, take them around the back and beat them with down.
