Ala Wrx.BKR6EIX is the ticket. make sure you get the standard ones as they make a BKR6EIX1.1 with the bigger gap.how many km's you done neo? they are in the service book to be done at 90k I think. changed mine at around 70iirc when I got the edit.N0.6 can be a pain because its close to the firewall but I just used an elbow attachment on my socket and it was sweet. one of those flexi attachments you can get would be the best option I rekon! I am looking at doing the first 3 on here http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=73561intake Clean and Turbo sol clean and tighten the bolts. also at the same time thinking of doing the spark plugs. as the intake will be off. what im not shore about the gap I should have on NGK website for Ba XR6T Recommended Plug FR6EI-11 1.1 and I cant find it on the STANDARD TO IRIDIUM - IX CONVERTER. but do you guys recommend a smaller gap 0.8 if so why a smaller gap. just thinking about it please tell me if im wrongI would think that smaller gap less distance for the spark to travel so giving stronger spark. but do they burn out quicker is there a down side to this Gap? would you guys also replace the coils or just forget them. with the removal of the plugs I just use the allen keys to get the cover off and then use a standard spark plug remover is the spark plug hole deep will I need and extension on the spark plug socket? I just want to do this right the first time that's all cheers

If you've had it edited then you probably want to go to the 0.8mm (or slightly less). I believe this is because higher boost levels can make it harder for the spark to travel between the electrodes at higher revs. The Ford gas plugs are fine, and come already gapped to suit an edited car. Changing the plugs is straight forward, but you will need an extension on the plug socket. I use a socket that positively captures the plug so it doesn't drop from the socket when you're doing it. I'd forget about the coils too. They're expensive, particularly if you want to buy 6 of them, and you'll soon know if one is stuffed.

Although my plugs didn't look stuffed, they were. I went for one cooler and got the NGK bkr7eix. They seem to be working very nicely. You will need the smaller gap if you are running higher boost as it will blow the spark out. Change the plugs first to see if that fixes your issues then go from there. Depending on how much boost you run and how often you're into it, Iridium plugs may only last 20,000kms. You will need an extension and no 6 is a bit of a bother.
