Not sure what happened earlier tonight, but washed the beast at a local spray and pray wash... Drove out and all was fine!!!

As it wasnt a full wash just a rinse headed down the motorway to do a 'round the block shammy' dry...

Got about 5 mins down the road and for no reason the brake warning light came on... (not the abs light, just the brake warning light - no it wasnt the handbrake light either)...

Not sure why it came on - still felt like they were ok... did a few quick stops and it was still ok...

The warning light didnt look to have come on fully, just as a dim warning...

Any ideas?

Water in the brakes?

Heated brake fluid?

Anyone had this happen before...

Yeah normal factory extra! I get it all the time during winter - country roads and water crossings. Apparently got something to do with moisture and the ABS sensors at the wheels - slight short in warning system I guess. Nothing to worry about though ... although brakes don't work efficiently when wet
