Guest Phantom Guests Posted 26/12/02 08:05 AM Share Posted 26/12/02 08:05 AM If a driver is to have 100% concentration we should ban phones, smoking, eating, drinking, passengers, radios and CD players. As long as the driver is alert to whats happening on the road I think it is OK. We should also ban nose picking especially in a new XR6T.

If it was up to me (as another bike rider) you can have passengers, but not anything else from that list. The one real difference between driving and riding isn't the number of wheels - it's the way you are one with the action/environment. Being behind a windscreen, inside a car removes you from the immediancy (?sp) of your actions. Adding music, food, conversations into the ether just magnifies the gap.
