pw stage 1 is a very tempting bit of gear ,but my point was if your goin to spend a $1000 on a cooler you really want to do the lot and reduce the tract lenght of all that piping ,the pw stge 2 looks great for someone building up to a full set up but when fitted to standard plenum it looks like it increases the lenght of piping

but in saying that I think the pw stge 1 will be my next purchase because I really cant see myself going over the 330rwkw mark and the standard pipework will do for those levels , and it is one of the best designed bits of gear iv'e seen for the xr

I upgraded to the PW stage 1 from a monza cooler and the difference is nite and day, the pw is so much better, it cools well and performs consistant.

it gets very hot up here in mildura so a good cooler is a must.

Apples V Apples. Cooler and stage 1 or 2 piping is well under 2k in anyone's kit. He doesn't need a plenum and could leave his hot side piping stock for now. If he wants more power later (which we all know he will) he can change hot side, do 4 inch intake and plenum for an easy and efficient 350+ on low boost. Crank up the boost and he can join the 400+ club.

I say the full setup because running their coolers by themselves with factory plumbing would be pointless.

are you sure of this? from what I am hearing a PW, Rapid or Plazmaman Stage 1 with an UBP would be a good upgrade for those wanting a consistent, all day long 280-300rwkw.

I have no f*cking idea, I give up.

If I had the cash and the gearbox to handle 350rwkw I'd get rapids gear tomorrow. But my aim is a very moddest 250rwkw, so I think a wog cooler and some bigger piping will be more than enough.

I would recommend it.

Tuning will also get the best results from the cooler.

Gee. That's really strange. Mine does 300's all day long on a "cheap schitte Monza cooler". Helps to have a nice dump and cat tied into the deal as well - but.......... "Never let the truth get in the way of another sale."

Pick your tuner. Select your budget figure. Discuss your options.

321 rwkw @ 11psi - Wow! They're some nice numbers. Been down the quarter yet?
