I'm new to these forums, from WA. just got myself an 05 BA mk2 turbo :)Brought two things of ebay for it straight up:4'dump+3.5'cat+2.5 S/S Xforce exhaust60lb Siemens Deka injectorsim looking for around 300+ rwkw.. on a reliable tunetheres a few things im sketchy on and still dont know which brand to get.. could some of you give me some ideas?I was thinking just a replacement Air filter (BMC, K&N) will be enough for the CAIGoing to have valve springs done by the tuner when everything is on the car (simon @ XFT)And I was thinking a straight fit intercooler upgrade... like them monza ones.. I just really want it to reduce temps a lil... any ideas?ohh and fuel pumps? ive been told the walbro GSS344's??? are the best? This setup should deliver me over 300rwkw... once its been tuned etc?cheers guys

Process West, Kevin, does some great work and I'm more than happy to recommend his products. K&N filters seem to be the go with alot of people here but it does pay to shop around for a good price and keep an eye out for the group buys thread and for sale one. Cheers

As fuel surge willbe a big problem at 300rwkw.. Also FIT A MONZA. they are a great coolerand I have many people who are over 300rwkw with these and they arecheaper.. I have 321rwkw on 11psi.. 5 runs back to back an dropped 20hp cant be that bad..

groper Member 611 Member For: 18y 2m 6d Posted 22/04/08 10:40 AM Share Posted 22/04/08 10:40 AM (edited) yeah you WILL need a clutch FOR SURE, the factory one cant hold with just an edit alone.nothing wrong with the malwood, but bear in mind they are a forum sponsor here so you get alot of biased opinion. IMHO they are a bit expensive for what you get, and there are better value items out there... I have a clutch industries twin plate which is around the same money as theyre single plate, works great, and I have heard GREAT things about the textralia clutches aswell, a bit more expensive, but worth a look. id be buying a textralia clutch if the one I have ever dies...
