I will say however that there are some parts that feel a little cheap, ie the interior door handles and some of the buttons on either side of the gauge cluster. While these are less than perfect, it is hard to take the modern, sophisticated feel away from the FG interior. One thing I noticed about the seats is that the cushioning on the cloth XR seats is much softer and, IMO, very comfortable. The seating position hasn't actually changed much, but you do get the feeling you sit lower inside the vehicle due to the changed roofline and higher hipline. The new ICC is much easier to see as it is on the same horizontal plane as the cluster. The buttons for the climate control are smaller but still easy to use and quite ledgible. The menu system has an Ipod feel to it due to the use of a navigation wheel, but is quite easy and didn't take long for any of us to get used to. The small screen in the middle of the gauge cluster is very useful and has a ton of accesible data such as the normal trip functions and also a large digital speed readout. The indcators feature a "one touch lane change" function where after a quick touch of the indicator stalk the indicators flash three times. The cruise control can be changed in either 1km or 10km increments which can make things quicker and easier. The Bluetooth functionality is quite good as the car can pair up to 8 different mobile phones, which can be good for company cars that may have one or more drivers throughout the day/week/month. Ipod integration is quite easy to use, it is connected via a cable that is located in the centre console, this also charges the Ipod, so no need for an external power source and no interferance as a result! Ingress and Egress is greatly improved over the BA and the rear access is exceptional, very easy to get into, great hip room and a larger cabin feel over-all.Overall Impressions: As a whole the FG is a very good progression for the Falcon and I have no doubt it is the best Falcon Ford has ever put together. The new single press body panel is very rigid by using a Boron component in the steel. The single press body panel also improves the fit and finish of the exterior body panels, panel gaps are almost perfect all around - a big call I know! The total feel I got from the FG was that familiar falcon feel, I knew where I was and was very comfortable with the dynamics of the car. As a salesman I am pretty critical of what I sell, so for me to be excited about this vehicle is a big thing, it really does impress me and I can't wait for the rest of you to drive the car because it does everything we wanted it to and more.I'm happy to answer any questions anyone has, I'll answer them the best I can!Pat

The standard screen is still well laid out and easy to see and read though
