Fantastic wad of torque everywhere. Does not feel laggy at all. Very responsive at just about any speed. And a nice peak figure well within the comfort levels of the cars standard clutch and gearbox. Couldn't take the XR6 as my option 3 clutch is away getting rebuilt. And here's a link to the times for anyone interested. I was car #44. Roughly the top 20 cars were on slicks... Except one. It's like looking at a picture of my thoughts. My wife (it's her car) wants to get the sti wing. I already have the front lip, that will be colour coded. I want the foglight covers, just without the sti stickers on them. And I also want the 02 sti rims. Your car is just about exact to how I want ours to look. Good luck with the engine. It's no surprise Jim the perfectionist picked up the issue.

And no, not catless. But after seeing how much flame I got, I don't think the cat is going to last long with all that fuel going through it. Adam, great chap, offered it to me for a price I couldn't refuse. So went home with both.Adam also pointed out a set of HKS coilovers, again for a great price. Wasn't interested at the time but after going home and thinking about it for a week, I went back and grabbed them too.The brace has been in for over a week, and wow, what a difference.Picked the coilovers up on Thursday and fitted them that night.Even at their softest setting the car is quite stiff. Maybe too stiff... But, I've raised the car a little higher than the lowered King Springs which has made the car much more liveable around speed hump infested car parks. And I've been able to solve some rubbing issues I had with tyre on guard by bringing the camber in a bit.So, overall quite happy with these 'unplanned' mods. Can't wait to get back to Wakefield to see what sort of improvements I've made.Oh, and my fav pics from the track day a couple of weeks ago.
