Sorry guys I have been in Qld. I will do a how to wash with suggested products write up asap

Re the menzerna vs poorboys. I think its better. Are you using a machine or by hand? If by hand stick with the poorboys IMO If machine then its worth trying out Menzerna. Cantact Final Inspection in Melbourne. He sells sample bottles that contain enough to do 3 or 4 panels so it gives you a feel for it without having to spend $45-65 on a full bottle.

The Clay Magic can be bought from waxit.com.au or by emailing or calling FinalInspection.com.au

What do you recommend for metallic paint (such as Merc. Silver). It's fairly simple to get a shine, but I want some depth to the finish. I've tried a few products (Turtle Wax Ultimate and Bowdens Own) but I think that the finish could be better than I've acheived so far. Is the Autoglym sealer any good, especially considering some of the imported stuff (like the products sold on waxit) is very close in price.

Have you used CarLack 68 at all Dan? (or anyone)

Do you have an opinion on it - if so?

Bowdens is good stuff. I havnt used the Autoglym sealer but they seem to get a pretty good review. Depth is hard on silver but it can be done. Give it a polish first then try a wax that has no fillers.

Current polish is the Turtle Wax F21, it leaves a nice finish, so I think it might be the wax that's letting me down (Turlte Wax Platinum liquid). How'd you know if a wax has fillers or not? :spoton:

If it says it removes swirls and scratches it has fillers. I would suggest P21S, P21S 100 or OCW for silver. One of the P21S wax's would probably look the best

I use a random orb, when my ssr runs out I might take a look at the menzerna.

As for clay magic, what do you use for lube?
