I just drove by my local but didn't take any notice.

Price was 160.9 earlier in the week with BP Ultimate - a rise of around 2c since early last week. But living in the country I got used to paying higher prices many moons ago. While Melburnians were paying on average 145.9 at the pump I was paying 158.9.

I think I need to re-tune my right foot a little because it is slowly starting to hurt. I remember when I was young at petrol was less than 50c a Litre and then the shock when it went over a $$. Now I just go and get it and try not to look at how much it is...

1.52 yesterday in melb, and I got less than half a tank left already. Wonder why I am putting the car back to stock and trading it to a wholesaler if I can't sell it. The money invested in the car will come in handy no doubt and yeah my bike cost 20 bucks to fill and eats up 300km of tarmac. So everyone involved in making petrol prices so high can go get a spoon and eat my arse, I would rather get pissed on with rain and mud than work for those pack of *beep*.

It is totally out of control.

I have always driven worked V8's and I am feeling it bad.

I have been driving a small car as a daily of late and save around $200 a week on fuel.

I hate it BAD, but my pocket loves it.

It's getting close to the 8 being a weekend driver only :(

Cost me less than $10.00 to do 120 km, and awesome performance to boot, but if it rains I get wet.

Scotty

same here, buying a bike was a good investment, considering I live in one of the driest towns in vic.

but my bike not as quick as yours, its only a 600...

Yeah well I doubt the government will actually DO ANYTHING until the price hits like 250cpl

even then I bet they wont, they'll increase the tax on fuel :buttrock:

more to the point, the state governments will continue to collect increased revenue which is about 5cpl now just from GST alone since it's introduction, ohhh yeah add another dollar to the price and there is another approximate 10 cents in the greedy little f*ckers pockets so they can distribute the funds to things WE HAVE NO SAY IN. That's right I forgot we are meant to be living in a democracy.
