...meanwhile, crude oil price is falling.

Yeah sure there's no price gouging, just pure coincidence the bowser price is going up for no particular reason and it just happens to be a long weekend!

Just found a great way to save on petrol. It all comes down to the way you drive... floor it in 3rd and keep it there for just few moments until a friendly police officer catches you on the laser. Now I can save heaps of money by not driving for 3 months. :birthdaywish: And a lot of grandma driving until I get the points back (got to love double demerits), saving fuel again

And I was thinking all day about the best way to beat fuel prices. I knew there was a way.

:pinch:

Ingenious solution, but will just take your word for it :spoton:

I’m surprised you’re still here to tell the story; speed kills doesn’t it? :unsure:best save that for another thread though.....

Last night I paid a new record high of 169.9c/L for pump fuel in Sydney.

A tank top-up of 42L cost $71.36.

That means over $100 for a tank fill in the Ford.

Is anyone paying any higher in any capitol city?

This was for Shell V-Power Racing. I've been using this for the past 6 weeks, as my car is tuned for it for street/track use.

They've increased it 5 cents a litre in the past week. It seems Shell are slowly releasing it to outlets in Sydney, and several other guys last night told me they paid the same price at 2 other Shell locations.

Brian

Mate in Canberra that's the absolute min you will pay for premium. Shell V power racing will set you back $1.76, BP ultimate - $1.72, Vortex 98 - $1.72. I have been paying over $100 per tank for over 6 months atleast.
