Hey guys!!

Well, I just gave birth to a BA XR6T, I was in intense labour for several years but its finally out and MINE!

Wat a joy it is though, just picked it up this afternoon and smiled the whole way home! :tonguepoke:

going from 1.8 to 2 ltr little pieces of crap, bout time I stepped up as a man.

I just got a few questions though guys.

1 - Views on ethanol based fuels in the T? (performance & maintenance)

2 - Views on 91 octane unleaded?

3 - quick fix tips for sound (I.e the ridiculously quiet plumback system needs to go) and performance

4 - just general pointers as im fairly new to the XR6s

if u could help that would be awesome!

Cheers

1. its cheaper but you use more so no real benefit,

2. 91 while you can run it, power will be reduced, 95 is the min you should run

3. warranty and mods dont go together so you will decide which one is important.

4. Start reading lots of pointers and tips here

1. don't bother, just use 98ron and have it tuned as such,

2. 91ron??? didnt know it existed!!! 95 minimum, 98 recommended

3. plenty of options regarding the bov's, farking with the standard ones, replacing with aftermarkets like the sleathFX one etc, porting around it all together

4. read the pointers in the forums such as cleaning the TB, resetting the TPS, replacing the fuel filter, getting the bi*ch edited.

oh, and :tonguepoke:

Dan

and PS; as we always say; enjoy yourself and watchout for the clowns! they're fast approaching...

Give it a good going over if its a BA1, will probably have some K's on it. Never bother with 91ron as the rest have said and what state your from always helps.
