Ok, so I've been playing with the DSP options on the stereo and I wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the problem I'm having: I created my own mix CD of favourite songs, and when I enable the DSP, it sounds like its been "robotised" -- I.e. there's a high-speed jagger of the sound. I haven't tested a store-bought CD yet, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Yeah, I just tweaked the bass/treble a little -- also the DSP and the SatNav seem to hate each other too. The SatNav voice is REALLY weird when the DSP is enabled.

Heheh. The SatNav is awesome, I'm really glad I chose that over the Turbo (... waits for the speedfreak lynch mob to arrive ...). See, I'm not about speed. I like creature comforts and flashing lights and buttons. And a remote control! My car has a remote control! How freaking cool is that?!

Ahh well, different toys for different boys......not to be confused with toyboys......

I'm with you though.. I'd take comfort/features over speed any day. Thankfully I believe the Turbo has enuff of both once you throw in a few options :D

I agree Dave - as an old fart of 40 years, the idea of having a family car that was both quick and comfortable was too much to ignore. And after being a Ford fan since I was a boy (hence the nick) I could finally go out and buy a decently quick Ford like my father could when the GT was around, without outrageous debt.
