The guys at the audio shop in canberra said it wasnt possible and I would have to loose the buttons on the steering wheel so they would be useless. Cheers for the clarification and good wriye up, any you guys keen to come to canberra and help intsall?? hahahahaha

Much better sound quality as its running straight off the head unit. But if u dont want to lose your steering wheel controls then the way this write up suggests would be a much better deicison for you. If your up newcastle way at some stage id be happy to help you out one day, for a cheap price of course lol but if your sort of comforable with wiring and electronics, print out my write up and go by it and u will be right buddy

Speak to Pat at Super Audio in Phillip, he is familiar with my system and can supply everything though I had already sourced my JVC player.Vic

My sound goes through the Aux input so all controls and factory stereo works as normal, which I think is what you want.

Or is it only possible with a new icc from asl? Thanks guys. Great post too.
